Discourses in Finnish forest policy: Cherry-picking or sustainability?

With the rise of concept a forest-based bioeconomy over past decade, sustainability is simultaneously an underlying assumption and key expectation. However, can we assume that sustainable simply because it emphasizes use forests as renewable resource? And will indeed lead to more – prosperous Finnish society?
